OUR PURPOSE
Through TEAMJALIL Meningitis Awareness Foundation Inc. donations are awarded to parents, guardians and other caregivers to help provide assistance with airfare, meals, lodging, and other basic necessities, while the child is in a critical care facility or home.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the TEAMJALIL Meningitis Awareness Foundation Inc. is to assist families who are suddenly challenged with any form of the various types of meningitis and/or other seriously debilitating illnesses gain access to emergency resources, and secure a lifeline that may not otherwise be accessible to needy families.

The TEAMJALIL Meningitis Awareness Foundation Inc. was founded in 2014 in honor of Jalil Louis Bryant who succumbed to a rare form of meningitis at the tender age of 13.

The TEAMJALIL Meningitis Awareness Foundation Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) that consists of a team of committed individuals who have created a National Village of inspiration and encouragement through which we seek to assist in aiding research for the cure of all forms of meningitis. Meningitis is an infection of the meninges (the membrane that covers the brain and the spinal cord).
It is most commonly classified as either Bacterial, Viral, or Fungal.

Who's At Risk?
Anyone can develop just about any kind of meningitis. However, some age groups have higher rates than others such as: Children under the age of 5, Teenagers and Young Adults ages 16-25, College students in dorms, Military recruits in barracks, People traveling to areas where Meningitis is more common.
